Mahindra Two Wheelers
sells 17565 units during September 2014
Chennai, 1 October, 2014: Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL),
part of the USD 16.5 billion Mahindra Group, today announced its sales numbers
for September 2014, which stood at 17,565 units. The company’s domestic sales
stood at 16,619 units during the month, while exports for the month stood at 946
units.
Commenting
on the performance, Viren Popli, Chief
of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “We are happy with the positive growth of our two wheeler
sector this month at the back of the improved performance of the automotive
industry. We are hopeful that the upcoming festive season will bring in greater
cheer for Mahindra especially with the launch of our new global scooter Gusto”.
