Carzonrent to deploy a fleet of 120 new units of Mercedes-Benz C-Class luxury sedans

New Delhi, 21 August 2014: Carzonrent India Pvt. Ltd (CIPL), India’s leading personal ground transportation solutions company, today announced the single largest luxury car order from Mercedes-Benz India. Carzonrent has acquired 120 Mercedes-Benz C-Class luxury sedans, making it the single largest corporate fleet deal in the country. The latest addition of 120 Mercedes-Benz C 220CDI cars makes Carzonrent the only brand with such a large number of luxury cars in its fleet. Rajiv Vij, Managing Director, Carzonrent, took the formal handover of the luxury sedans from Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

The increasing affluence of young Indians, coupled with the strong emergence of the young aspirational customer groups who want the highest levels of comfort and luxury, has led to a huge surge in demand for luxury cars. The emergence of such a trend has been an impetus for customer focused companies such as Carzonrent, which has witnessed a robust demand for luxury travel from their high net worth clients. Keeping this burgeoning demand in mind, Carzonrent would be investing Rs. 100 crores in the year 2014-15 to further strengthen its luxury car fleet.
