Lamborghini India delivers outstanding results in the brand’s 50th Anniversary year 

 Registers impressive growth of 29%

 – Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has
announced strong sales numbers in India for the year ended 31st December,
2013. The year saw a significant growth for the extreme Italian super
sportscar brand.
The company has recorded double-digit growth of 29 per cent after having
sold 22 units in 2013 as against 17 units in 2012.
Mr. Pavan Shetty, Head Lamborghini India said “In India, Lamborghini owners
love the brand for its unique values of being extreme, uncompromising and
unmistakably Italian. They understand the brand and the experience that
Lamborghini ensures on purchasing the iconic super sportscar.”
Lamborghini India started off the year 2013 on a high note by launching the
Aventador Roadster in January. The Italian super car maker also expanded its
network presence in India by officially unveiling its new dealership in New
Delhi. To keep the momentum going, the brand also introduced "Collezione
Automobili Lamborghini" - its exclusive range of branded merchandise in India.
Even in a difficult year like 2013, Lamborghini India managed to maintain a
positive rhythm. With increased core investment plans, the brand confirms its
commitment to a long-term growth strategy in the country.

Lamborghini India currently has 2 dealerships in India - Mumbai & New Delhi
and plans to open a third dealership in southern India by 2014.

The brand has sold close to 90 units in the country till date.

Lamborghini Global sales performance: 

The year 2013 was also of great significance for Lamborghini on the global front.
In the year of the brand’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, Automobili Lamborghini
S.p.A delivered a very strong performance with sales increasing for the third year
in a row. With 129 dealers serving 46 countries, in 2013, worldwide deliveries to
customers increased from 2,083 to 2,121 units. These results outperformed the
trend of the market in the super sports car segment.

The year 2013 also saw several products being introduced by the House of the
Raging Bull.

Early in 2013 Automobili Lamborghini introduced the Aventador LP 700-4
Roadster, the ultimate open-air luxury super sports car, while the Gallardo
Squadra Corse, presented at the end of the year, celebrated also the end of the
Gallardo range with a best-in-class version, able to break many lap time records.

Limited edition one-offs like the Egoista, the Veneno and the Veneno Roadster
were presented as homage to the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini,
alongside special anniversary editions of the Gallardo, the Aventador and the
Aventador Roadster.
